the quickening:
originally there wasn't going to be the need for separate webspace for my sites. way back in the year 2003 it was decided that i wanted to give the blogging a bit of a shot as a few people i knew online were getting into it. i'm no stranger to html, i've owned a couple of free hosted sites over the year, but nothing that i stuck with.
i applied for hosting at through an old school friend at misabel.com and was blogging away quite happily. eventually my site started to expand as i acquired the mustumi, always my santa and ken akamatsu fanlistings respectively. also i was steadily improving my sites, learning to implement php scripts, skinning the site etc.
eventually misabel had to be shut down, and although i wasn't forced i felt it was time to move on. i registered the domain name, which i originally planned to develop a manga with the same title. just something to waste my time with. being as untalented as i am with the arts side of things, that was thrown out the window and offbeathalo.com stands as what it is today.
